Prospective Students

Hello, and welcome to Hillel at the University of Pennsylvania!

Penn Hillel is one of the top Hillels across the country, known for our wide variety of opportunities, innovative initiatives, and entrepreneurial spirit.  We encourage all prospective students to stop by Steinhardt Hall, discover what Jewish life at Penn is all about, and experience the strong sense of community that is Penn Hillel!  Penn Hillel offers the opportunity to explore and celebrate your Jewish identity through arts, social justice, student leadership, Israel advocacy and engagement, religious life, and much more.

Come visit us at 39th Street between Locust and Walnut, across the bridge near the High Rises.

Want to maximize your visit to Penn?  Consider spending a night or Shabbat on campus hosted by students!  Prospective students are encouraged to visit whenever you can, whether it’s during the week or on a weekend to experience Shabbat on campus.  If you are interested, please contact Joan Bobroff, our Office Manager, and she will be happy to help!

If you can’t make it for an in-person visit, please explore all that Penn Hillel has to offer through our website.  Check out Hillel’s latest events in our weekly      e-newsletter, find out more about kosher food on campus, and get to know our friendly staff and student leaders!

Have more questions about Penn Hillel?  Check out our handy FAQ page or feel free to email Eliana Holm, our student Communications Chair.
