Summer 2010: Fight Child Prostitution in Thailand

Spend three weeks in Thailand this summer helping to prevent child sex trafficking. Participants will have the chance to coach sports, music, art and dance, design playgrounds and teach English to rescued children in local schools. The exploitation and sale of children through child prostitution is an ever-growing phenomenon. Justifi interns will partner with two organizations who run homes for rescued children in the north of Thailand and work to prevent kids being sold into a life of slavery. The trip begins with an orientation program combining politics, history, ethics and religion, with some hiking and touring on the side. Trips will take place in small groups of twelve students and dates are flexible, set based on your schedule. For more information and to apply, check out www.Justifi.org or contact Rabbi Jamie Cowland, Jamie@justifi.org.
