With six service choices that meet in Steinhardt Hall or on Zoom, Shabbat on campus is a vibrant, welcoming, and diverse experience. In addition to the phenomenal services and meals that happen in Hillel on Shabbat, Hillel also sponsors meals throughout campus through various student groups and initiatives. This semester you can host your Shabbat dinner anywhere in the world and we will subsidize it, just check out Shabbat across Penn.

This year we are offering both in person and online programming. Penn Hillel is proud to support over 40 student-led groups. The pillars of Hillel work are Israel, Education, Jewish life and Tzedek Social Justice. Hillel also reaches out to students all over campus, including through college houses and Greek life. The Jewish Renaissance Project, a program of Penn Hillel, engages these students through over 11 initiatives. To learn more about Jewish life at Penn, check out the Students tab above.
Hillel has Conservative, Reform, and Orthodox rabbis on staff. Click here to contact one of our talented and knowledgeable Rabbis.
