Ariel Nissan

Born and raised in North Carolina, Ariel is excited to venture north to Philadelphia this year! Ariel was raised in a traditional Mizrahi-Israeli family and grew up speaking Hebrew at home and spending summers in Jerusalem, Israel. She was raised on the campus of the American Hebrew Academy (AHA), an international pluralistic Jewish boarding school in Greensboro, NC, where she later attended high school. At AHA, she was immersed in a diverse community of young Jews from all around the world, which incited her passion for religious and cultural pluralism, Jewish education, and community building.
