Jenna Ferman

Jenna Ferman is thrilled to serve as the Assistant Director at Penn Hillel. Originally from Abington, PA, Jenna is excited to return to Philly after almost 10 years away. Jenna has worked for several Hillels and synagogues, holds an MA in Jewish Education from the Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS), and earned her Bachelors degrees from Columbia University/JTS in English Literature and Hebrew Bible. Jenna would love to talk to you about her time in Israel with Masa Israel Teaching Fellows, her semester abroad in Sydney, Australia, her world travels, and her many years living in NYC. In addition to all things Judaism and Israel, Jenna enjoys practicing and teaching yoga, reading (follow her on goodreads!), exploring new places, and long walks/dog park visits with her sweet rescue pup, Layla. Jenna can’t wait to meet you!
