Samantha Kaufman

Hello! My name is Samantha Kaufman, and I am a senior originally from Newport Beach, CA. At Penn, I am double-majoring in Neuroscience and Health Care Markets and Finance in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Hillel truly serves as a hub for Jewish learning and connection, and has become a home for me on campus. As Co-President, I meet regularly with Penn faculty, Hillel staff, and fellow board members to amplify Jewish voices and maintain relationships with broader community organizations.

Prior to this position, I served as Hillel’s VP of Social Affairs, facilitating all social programming, mentorship initiatives, and Hillel’s annual Pre-Orientation program. I have also engaged with Hillel as the co-chair of the Shira Chadasha Minyan, Jewish Learning Fellowships (JLFs), and as a member of the inaugural Jewish Leadership Initiative (JLI) cohort.

Outside of Hillel, I am involved in the Kite & Key Tour Guide Society, TAMID Consulting Group, Penn Club Tennis, and am an avid runner and hiker.
